Categorization engine
The categorization engine sorts posts and accounts into topics, so you can zoom into exactly the slice of the market you care about and filter everything else out.

What it does for you
- Sorts your timeline by topic. Every post is tagged with the topics it belongs to, so you can filter your feed down to a single niche.
- Profiles the accounts you track. Handles are sorted into the topics they post about most, so you understand at a glance what each account is about.
- Powers the insights. The word clouds and topic radars in Insights are built on these categories.
A niche taxonomy
MBER organizes everything into a structured set of topics: roughly fifteen broad categories, each with its own subtopics. That structure is what lets you go from "show me everything" down to "show me only this corner of the market" in a couple of clicks.

info
This page describes what categorization gives you. The way topics are assigned is part of what makes MBER work, and stays under the hood.
