Do I need a wallet?
Yes. You sign in with a wallet on Base. Sign in is non-custodial: you prove you own the wallet, and MBER never takes custody of your funds or keys.
Which chain does MBER use?
Base, an Ethereum Layer 2. It keeps fees low and confirmations fast.
Where does the data come from?
MBER reads public posts from the X accounts you choose to track. You are in control of which handles are on your watchlist.
How is a post's score decided?
Scores reward genuine signal over follower count, so a sharp post from a smaller account can outrank a viral post from a large one. The Scoring engine page explains the idea.
