Glossary

A quick reference for the words you will see throughout MBER.

  • Handle: an X account. The accounts you track are your tracked handles.
  • Watchlist: the set of handles you are currently tracking, managed on the Track page.
  • Timeline: a ranked, filterable feed of posts from your tracked handles. Filter is your main timeline.
  • Signal: the posts worth your attention, regardless of account size.
  • Score: a per-post rating of signal; higher is stronger. See the Scoring engine.
  • Score pills (ENG, VRL, QUAL): engagement, virality, and quality, each 0 to 10 relative to your current view.
  • Category: a topic in MBER's niche taxonomy used to filter your timeline. See Categorization.
  • Scrape: a pass that collects recent posts for your tracked handles. See the Scraping engine.
  • Status indicator: a small bar that shows how up to date a handle's data is.
  • Studio: the workspace where you turn signal into your own posts.
